Eclairs

What is it?

Eclairs are those typical oblong French petits gâteaux made of choux pastry. They're filled with pastry cream and topped with a special sugar icing.
The recipe includes 6 to 7 steps.
What to expect?

You'll learn all the secrets for a successful choux pastry, we will of course make the filling together and will top the éclairs with icing.
If you go for the 4 hour version, you'll learn how to actually prepare the icing (not to be underestimated :) ). In the fast-track 3-hour class I come with the icing ready-made. This has no incidence on the price, as I either spend an hour extra with you or ahead of the class.
We could make vanilla & chocolate éclairs altogether in one class, or if you'd like another, more special filling, we'll then only make one, but that doesn't mean it's less interesting :) Just ask for it when you click on “Ask for information”
This class is for you if...

You love éclairs and/or if you're looking for something a bit challenging :).
The class is great (in a home context) for a group of 2 to 4 active participants (family, group of friends). This does not mean we can’t do it if you’re on your own or on the contrary if you’re a bigger group.

Duration: 3 to 4 hours

Price is the same for 3 or 4 hours as the shorter version makes for more prep work for me ahead of the class. Please be aware that this might be subject to variations (for instance depending on the place the class takes place at).

Planning the event together with you
bringing the ingredients (mainly of organic origin) and tools
travelling to your place and back, within a perimeter of 30 km from my place (travelling costs further than 30 km will be counted extra).
recipe as a paper & PDF.
