Home-made chocolate & caramel bars

  • What is it?

Home-made chocolate-caramel bars, in the style of “Snickers”, made from scratch, with love, and with the ingredients you love!

For the bar itself, you’ll choose from 2 options:

    • a melt-in-the-mouth buckwheat/oat shortbread

    • a granola-style bar with lots of healthy, nourishing things in it :)

On top of it comes a soft caramel…

… and then creativity has no borders when it comes to the toppings:

    • roasted hazelnuts or almonds

    • puffed rice or quinoa

    • caramelised chocolate nibs

    • chocolate crisps

    • caramelised pistachios or pecans…

Finish it off with a dark or milk chocolate coating (or a combination of both as on my own photos), your choice.

  • What to expect?

You will learn the techniques related to each element of the bars, e.g:

    • making the shortbread/granola bars from dough-making up to cutting them nicely square, including rolling them out in an even layer…

    • making a foolproof soft caramel

    • learning how to assembly and make sure it works :)

    • learning how to make a chocolate coating which you could use to glaze a cake.

  • This class is for you if...

If you are looking for a class

… that is the one for you!
